Hacking 4.55 to 5.05?

well noob here
i am on 4.55 and some new games not working on 4.55 which requiring the newer 5.05

my question is should i upgrade to 5.05? anything i will lose if i shifted from 4.55?
is 5.05 is stable now? i mean is it the 5.05 Golden firmware now?

Yeah 5.05 is golden, no reason to stay low.

You won’t lose anything if you upgrade.

what do you mean ? putting the PS4 to sleep and wakeup again you mean?
i don't use it anyway as i always turn off my PS4

Rest mode works, however it’s advised to close games, and rest mode just the XMB, then when awakening, start up your game again.

I updated 4.05-4.55 two or so weeks after it came out, and then to 5.05 the day after it came out.

No regrets.

I updated 4.05-4.55 two or so weeks after it came out, and then to 5.05 the day after it came out.

No regrets.

so if i got packages already installed and saves what will be for them ???
will i need to re install or somehow backup saves to make it work on the 5.05 or it will work as it was before?
