Just found this, tried to install it and despite the "update" being successful I'm still on regular 4.41 (Read - not demo mode). Don't even bother with this even if you find it.

Demo Mode doesn't allow you to install packages - it does the exact opposite, it freezes the PS3 in the state it is in, disables access to the PSN Store etc. - Pong is 100% right, it's no jailbreak.
