Updates as they are discovered:
  • iPod 2G and iPhone 3G iOS are no longer being updated by Apple.
  • Option for Rotation Lock or Mute on iPad
  • Personal HotSpot
  • Multi-Touch gestures for iPad. You can use four or five fingers to pinch to the Home Screen; swipe up to reveal the multitasking bar; and swipe left or right between apps.
  • Allows users to stream videos from apps to compatible devices via AirPlay.

If this is true i am very disappointed.
Not because my device is not getting any more support, but because less than a year ago they still sold the iPod touch 2G(MC-model). Since it is the same hardware it is basically the same.
People who bought it not knowing the difference between the 8GB(iPod touch 2G MC) and the 32GB - 64GB will be like "Why is my device already unsupported after lass than a year after purchase?"

Anyway, I hope this isn't true. I hope it was just a mistake on Apple's part.

iOS 4.3 appears to contain only enhancements to features that Apple doesn't support for the iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G. Perhaps that may be why there's no iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2G build?

The only exception to that would be Mobile Hotspot for the iPhone 3G... perhaps Apple doesn't think the iPhone 3G has the CPU power? (Note: I've never tried MyWi on an iPhone 3G.)

Well, rotational lock is a must have, and is one of the very few reasons I'm tempted to jailbreak again... And if they don't support it in my 2G model, I'll be raging! it's nothing about hardware, it's just about being greedy little bitches íf they do this

They dont need to add hotspot cause it come with iPod/iPad/iPhone via tethering jailbroken and not jailbroken
