So I would just go out and say that this card is shit and not post this thread, but has both Prime shipping and Amazon's choice on Amazon, so I'm not sure. So for some reason my data is getting corrupted when it used to work fine, I don't know the problem, but it suddenly started corrupting some data starting with Spiderman 2 data, and eventually corrupting my Sonic Mega Collection, Chao Garden, F-Zero GX, and Pac-Man World 2 along with much more, but not everything. The card is called the "Gamilys 128MB Black Memory Card", and here's the link to the Amazon page: https://www.amazon.com/Gamilys-128MB-Memory-Compatible-Gamecube/dp/B011HMIVJ6/ref=sr_1_3?crid=3SPP02UJYJSK5&keywords=gamecube+memory+card&qid=1575592450&s=videogames&sprefix=gamecube+mem,videogames,258&sr=1-3

If anyone else knows the problem, please tell me.

Quick update: a friend sent me a homebrew app that could uncorrupt GCN cards called Ctr-Gcs-DacoTaco-Edition. The Wiibrew page is here: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Ctr-Gcs-DacoTaco-Edition. I haven't tested it yet but I've heard good things about it.

What's there to get? Cheap knock off memory cards use cheap untested memory chips that may or may not hold up over time.

Get an official Gamecube memory card they are still pretty cheap. I got a new in box 1024 for under 20 dollars just a year ago.

3rd party memory cards have never been reliable on any system. They're much cheaper/higher capacity for a reason, they're made cheaply to sell cheaply. Where you bought it from is irrelevant.

Thanks, I've just never experienced any cards behave like this before.

I'm sure most people on here have made the exact same mistake at some point, I did back when the PS2 was the current gen. Exact same thing happened to my saves. Only 3rd party one I have now is a PS2 card that came pre-installed with free mcboot and only because you simply can't get one on official cards anywhere. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do to get those saves back. Just live and learn. Get an official card and start over. I've never had any similar problems with the official card.

Looks fake to me...
