what the hell is this patch for?
can someone explain?
Change log:
1.Card2 type can be coverted to card1 type
2.Support eShop downloaded roms

*Thank tomvii for his contribution to batchcard2tocard1testbytomvii.rar
Attention: this patch still does not work for pokemon X/Y, because the save is too large.

please dont make new threads for every little question, there are stickies for this, where you could have read the answer or asked the question....

basically, you can use it to play a few eshop roms, that didnt work before that on the clone cards, it converts a card2 aka nand saving game into an card1 game, a game that saves "normally", but it doesnt work on pokemon due to the different save file size

Its for eshop games since they have nand saving
And before you ask pokemon xy and animal crossing do not work with it

3DSlink being the same product than R4i, you could have search for existing R4i threads talking about it.
like said above, it's a tool to convert Card2 games type to Card1 game type.
There are tools made by users from different forums, and the R4 team did the same. You can use whichever program you prefer to patch card2 games. Attention, it's not the official way to play Card2 games. They would better update their flashcart to support Card2 instead of patching ROMs and making savegame incompatible with future updates.
