Hardware 3DS XL Top Screen Problem

Hello,

I was opening and closing my 3DS really quickly like a child and suddenly the top screen went black. Also, I can't open the 3DS completely otherwise it will turn itself off and make a popping noise.
There are also some blurry lines on the bottom screen.

Is there anything I can do to fix it myself? What should I do?

Disassembled. I can see a tiny split that is white in colour on one of the cables. Should I buy a new screen? Do they come with new ribbon cables?

Can anyone explain why the bottom screen had lines going down through it when this happened? Is the bottom screen broken or is it because of the top screen?

I've seen where if the 3ds does not turn on properly, the bottom screen freaks out and displays random garbage. Fix the top screen ribbon and worry about the bottom later
