Hacking 3DS XL Cfw Profile question

So I went and did something really stupid, namely changing the user name of the console, effectively fucking up the cfw.
My question consists of this: Is there any way or reverting this without reinstalling, considering the fact that I don't remember what the previous user name is?

changing the username back to the old one would not fix it, you need to reinstall the ds profile exploit.

I can make this work...
Though, will the fact that trying to access the NDS Profile result in an error be a problem?
And what card should I use, the one I'm gonna be running stuff off after installing or a different one?

just use the one you are using, and nope, that should just overwrite your broken NDS profile, running any NDS game should also reset the profile back to default if it does cause issues
