Buddies, my 3DS XL analog stick just broken.

    Heres the remains,
    http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=dy6rh0&s=8

I am thinking of using Super Glue to stick the plastic and analog rubber grip together. Would it be good idea?
Or what could be the best possible way to fix it? Where could I get best quality analog nob?

    Thanks in advance...

The picture isn't loading on my end, so I don't know the extent of your damage. Was it just the rubber pad that came off, leaving the stick exposed? Or is there more damage to the entire assembly?

The pad on my XL popped off about a month ago, leaving me with just the stick. I've actually grown accustomed to using it, finding it to be more accurate to control.

If I can give you two pieces of advice, it's this:

    • Keep track of all your screws
    • Slow and steady wins the race

I like to draw circles on a sheet of paper that roughly match the screw locations, and set the screws inside of them. Takes a few extra minutes to "map" everything out, but saves some headaches later.

I've gotten by without having to do something like this, but definitely could be helpful to others for sure!

I'm not clumsy in anything else, but my elbows are screw seeking missiles.

Ya I felt so stupid when I ripped off the nub right in front of my clients 3ds thinking IT MUST come off like a psp :hateit: . The replacement case i used had literally every single replacement piece down to the last screw but no nub, so I had to use to the original, needless to say I looked pretty foolish, Live and learn I guess haha
