Hello! Thanks for reading this :), but my 3ds wont boot into luma (or even update its stuck on 10.0.1). It says:

An exception occurred

Processor: ARM11 (core 1)
Exception type: undefined instruction
Current process: pm (0000000000000000)

(and the a bunch of random numbers and letters tell me if you need them and i shall give them to you)

I have looked around and most people have been saying to update it but it wont let me, and I think that's because it is loading off the system nand. I have followed YouTube videos and followed the 3ds hacks guide (I would send the link but it wont let me sorry) and nothing is working. I was thinking about changing the boot.firm file. but now, God Mode 9 wont even launch, any help that is given will be much appreciated :)

Thanks.

If it won't update, something may be wrong with the SD card or reader.

possibly, my sd card slot is really bad now, when you put in the sd card it doesnt click into place, you've got to force close the lid, but i believe i did have an sd card at one point that would let me boot but that's lost to time at this point. it might be my adapter, let me just go check with another one

edit: it might be my reader im just not to sure how to check since GM9 wont load

I'm not sure if there's a way to load gm9 with the ctrnand. that's what I think is happening. the ctrnand luma is being read, because the card isn't, so it's not updating. I don't know how to update the ctrnand or launch godmode without an sd card.

It did launch once, but after that i got nothing, its a bit annoying because i have so much i want to do on it

well, there's not much use for a 3ds that can't read an sd card, if the reader is the problem. can't install cia games afaik.

the boot.3dsx is just the homebrew launcher. you can technically make it work without that file on the card. it's used with rosalina over something no one uses like download play.
