the closest gamestop near me was sold out but i went to walmart to see if they had any left they had a bunch still gamestop had only like ten ( i think )

Sold out in Miami, Gamestop, Bestbuy..etc no where. I went yesterday at 3, complete crap. A new shipment should be in by mid-April.

Considering the recent news stories all over the game sites today about how the 3DS was the best handheld launch ever, I would say it's more a case of ample supply.

U.S. day-one sales numbers for Nintendo 3DS were the highest of any Nintendo hand-held system in our history. More details about U.S. sales numbers will be made public on April 14, when first-week U.S. sales figures will be tallied by the independent NPD Group. Nintendo worked hard to get as much product as possible to retailers on day one to meet demand, and we will continue with these efforts moving forward.
