OK, I have just registered to post this....

I have 3DS that was running 1.something...forgot to check. I have AK2i

I first updated my AK with the file in the links from http://www.acekard.com/download.php

I ran the DSI update on my 3DS. No worries.

Then I updated my 3DS to 2.0.

Then I tested. Guess what?

IT WORKS FINE!!!

Now you're reading this and i'm playing excite bike for FREEE!!!!

Anybody able to explain to me why my DSTWO is not booting the update? It's in the root of the Micro SD, formatted, and it just boot straight to menu when it starts up on my phat. What the hell?

EDIT: Strange. I deleted and replaced the EOS files (the same one, I had updated to 1.11 already after formatting) and it worked now.

@ Pong20302000: I tried updating it on the 3DS purely by accident and it still updated fine on the DS Phat.

I switched to DSi mode before updating.

I have a R4i gold 3ds, and i didnt updated it. My 3ds is now 2.0.0-2., so i cant ugrade it. Sombody can upload the updated 1.42 kernel with spongebob icon?

Strange how it works in DSi but not DS.

has anyone tried the r4i gold v2.0 from r4ids.com (currently uses akaio 1.8.6a FW) on the 3ds update?
i haven't updated my 3ds yet but i can't find anywhere that has shown they have attempted it yet after the update.

ok can someone help please!!!!!! I got a dsi so i put in the flash cart with the latest.130 wood and patch 1.4.2.b for dsi, i then run it and its a success, but when i take it out, NO SPONGEBOB PICTURE!!! its that Miami Nights 3D picture!!! HElp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

it still gives me that black screen an error has occured switch the device off

I'm in the same boat as you. It looks like the card is going to need an update. We need to wait for the team to release one. I've emailed them. I'll post the response here as soon as they email me back.

i emailed them as well and they told me to just chill and do the update and then if i have any questions i should email them.......uhm..........THATS WHY I EMAILED them to help me i cant change to the correct icon

ok just email the r4ids.cn team and they will email you the patch you need to load onto the card and that will fix it

DSTWO works fine after update.
Just update your card on DSi or update on 3ds BEFORE you update the 3ds itself.

I updated it on the 3DS itself with no problems.
