If I have a o3ds running 9.2 and another o3ds factory reset running 11.0 and I system transfer the 3ds running 9.2 over to the 3ds running 11.0 would the 3ds running 11.0 become system firmware 9.2 (this is probobly a noob question but I have never done a system transfer before and cannot find the answer on the internet.)

If this does not work is there any other way of doing this?

OK, I have heard of a way to downgrade 11.0 using the game fieldrunners, is there any other way of downgrading 11.0 without hardmod?
No, the Fieldrunners exploit needs to be done from a system with custom firmware. Or you could get a hardmod. Those are your only two options.

though you could probably get a CFW on your 9.2 3ds (and if you can install the freeshop, maybe fieldrunners is there, but IDK if the exploit would work there)

You are correct that you can use CFW on the 9.2, which from there you could just create an emuNAND purely for the system transfer to downgrade a 11.0 3ds. But you are horribly wrong about using freeshop for fieldrunners. The game HAS to be a legitimate purchase from eShop, otherwise it won't transfer over system transfer. Meaning freeShop downloads will not system transfer.

You have to update your system before doing a system transfer, so that won't work. You can set up your 9.2 system and do the fieldrunners downgrade, but I'd suggest waiting because something really big is coming in about a month.

What is coming in about a month? System version 11.1?

Okay, I've seen you in every thread I visited, shushing people who have theories. Are you the mastermind behind all this? Are you actually Primal Plailect? AM I TAKING CRAZY PILLS HERE?
You could probably find it if you look for it, but it would be best to stay quiet about it because Nintendo might find out.
;)

At this point I'm just going to believe there is nothing going to happen and you two are just spreading misinformation.

@AncientBoi, Yeah, believe you can do PSP games as well. But a Pi5 is much powerful in comparison.

Not sure about other models of Pi4 but the Pi 4 B with 8GBs OCed to 2Ghz handles PSP really great except like 1 game I found and it is playable it just looks bad lol Motor Storm Arctic something or other.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Other games I can have turned up to like 2X and all kinds of enhancements, Motorstorm hmmm nope 1X and no enhancements lol

I will admit that one does seem more interesting than the usual Ambernic ones, and I already liked those.

    I dread the price point.

This looks like one of their premium models, so... $150 :glare:

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    To me that seems reasonable.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I mean since basically all the games are errmmm free lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean yeah sure but the specs are the same as a $50 model, it's just those pesky "quality of life" things driving up the price, like an actually working speaker, or buttons that don't melt, and stuff like that.

I think all in my Pi 4 was well north of 200 bucks 150ish for the Pi 4 the case the fancy cooler, then like 70 for the 500GB MicroSD then like 70 for the Xbox controller. But honestly it's a nice set up I really enjoy and to me was worth every penny. (even bought more controllers for 2 or 4 player games.) hmmm have never played any 2 player games yet :(
  • Veho @ Veho:
Yeah that's what I hate about the RPi, it's supposedly $30 or something but it takes an additional $200 of accessories to actually turn it into a working something.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
yes that's the expensive part lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I mean sure it's flexible and stuff but so is uremum but it's fiddly.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Yeah a lot of it I consider a hobby, using Batocera I am constantly adjusting the collection adding and removing stuff, scraping the artwork. Haven't even started on some music for the theme... Also way down the road I am considering attempting to do a WiiFlow knock off lol
  • Veho @ Veho:
I want everything served on a plate plz ktnx, "work" is too much work for me.
  • Veho @ Veho:
Hmm, with that in mind, maybe a complete out-the-box solution with all the games collected, pacthed and optimized for me would be worth $150

Yeah it's all choice and that's a good thing :)
