Hardware 3DS Question: How Screwed am I?

So sad news is I lost my ambassador 3ds this past weekend in a fire. when i go to replace it whats the likely hood of me having to repurchase the 2 games I bought off the eshop? can I just sign in and redownload them to will I now have to repurchase them?

I don't think they will only ask for the serial numbers, probably with the sales receipt too. Good luck.

You might get lucky if you registered the system with Nintendo. There is the possibility that the serial number is stuck in your registration... actually now that I say that, you had to register to get in the Ambassador program. So check in your account and see.

I believe you only had to connect it to the eShop. Registration on CN just gets you an extended warranty.

well I doubt I have it registered but I do still have the original box and yes you just had to enter the eshop before a certain date for the ambassador program. As for a receipt I would have to check not sure though. Ether way I will be giving nintendo a call to see what we can do.

Nintendo won't do anything, I previous 3DS was an ambassador unit and it had like 50€ worth of digital games, I got a new one for free but they couldn't get me my lost games... Well, I didn't buy them again and instead bought others that I hadn't played so far. xP

Try calling Nintendo maybe you can send them the damaged 3DS?
