I've never heard of them not restoring properly.

That's a new find for me, thanks for sharing the info!

I should probably update the first post then...

I am actually unsure why that would happen.

Does clicking continue keep the program running?
Are any changes made to the file?

If none of that works, do you have .NET Framework 4.0?

If all of that is true, I don't know what to do (besides maybe try Framework 4.5).

Sorry for the inconvenience

It now works for me!!!! Thank you!!

Oh, but exdata dump gives me a copy error. Help me!!

Do you have the CFL_DB.dat in the same folder as the extdata_dump.3dsx?
Is the CFL_DB.dat named CFL_DB.dat?
Is your config.txt exactly like this?:

RESTORE "CFL_DB.dat" "f000000b:/CFL_DB.dat"

And, are you running the latest boot.3dsx? (Ninjhax v2.1)

IF you mean the dumps folder with everything inside, then yes.
The CFL_DB.dat is what it is.
And Yes, but I copied what you had to make sure and I'll get to testing.

Yep!! Got it!

I don't know if I have the time to find those bytes, but if I ever want some sprites, could I PM you?

Sure! I just don't want to make sprites to have them completely unnoticed.
I made marc_max some for the acnl ram editor and I let him know, yet, never saw or heard if they were good, bad, usable, or useless. It wasted like almost an hour of my time.

OK, partially solved my issue with edit my personal Mii!... Only replacing "CFL_OldDB.dat" for a modified file, through "exdata dump restore" homebrew. Now I can create one and modify it! Collateral efect: This action deletes all older Miis, including personal, indeed! (Fortunatelly, I have QR Miis copies!)

Now, problem is modify other Miis with "3ds Mii modifier" program (or Hex editor) and restore modified CFL_DB.dat to console!

Question: "fixcrc" program works on WinXP? I ran it (directly and over cmd line), and just error message! Could be this issue the problem to modify my Miis?

It is possible to, with spider ARCODE. That is how I made my personal Mii special.
@Jwiz33
Oh, cool. Would it be ok if you PM'ed me how you made the AR code? I myself have an AR code that allows me to edit the names of my miis. I would happily use this tool, but for some reason the homebrew channel won't work on my 3DS.
EDIT- lol, messed up on the quote there.

Yep, expect a PM soon!

EDIT: PM'd!

OK... All issues solved for me now! Definitelly, this program ("fixcrc") seems not to be compatible with WinXP, but works fine on Win7. Thanks anyway!
