Hardware 3ds game card help!

My 3ds when I insert a card it won't read and when I take it out it makes a grinding noise HELP!!

Probably game card slot or cable problem.

You might have damaged the game card slot or the cable that is connecting the card slot to the main board, or maybe the game card slot is dirty.

Check another game, but most likely it is the game card slot/ the cable connecting to the board since you mention it is making sound, so it is a hardware problem.

Well if you don't want to fix it , then just put CFW on the unit if you haven't already.

Probably just order replacement card reader slot for the specific model you have. Since you open it before already, why don't you check the connection again.

Well on the 2DS you gonna have to solder unless you can find a shop or someone to do for you, to be honest, it would probably cost more than the system itself since you have a 2ds.

Fold up a small piece of paper to force the cart contacts into better connection with the slot. Works on many flashcarts that have this sort of problem. That grinding noise though... I think you reassembled the system wrong somehow, Id take it back apart and try to get it back together properly before anything else.

Well if the system works fine and you have CFW, just leave the game card slot alone.
