3ds systems should be cheap enough to the point where people can easily get one by the time the nintendo switch has been out for a while so don't think this is needed.

That depends on the state of the country you're currently in. Take my country, for example. In here, a O3DS costs R$1,300.00 (N3DS costs R$1,600.00) and a game (any game) costs R$150.00.

Switch doesn't even have two screens; I highly doubt any (3)DS BC. Nintendo's probably afraid to give us too much to play with...
