Well, from what I understand the clones will probably brick your 3DS if they use the latest GW software, and the Gateway also has a chance to brick. I'd say wait until this crap is all over.

Yeah, wait at least until GW releases 2.0 and until MT releases a new firmware. For the current point of view, I'd buy the MT but both GW and MT didn't release something for months.

the blue card's value is practically nothing anyway, so if resellers did sell the white card alone you would probably only get like £5 off maximum, and i doubt many sellers would separate them as they would really struggle to sell the blue card alone as it only works up to 6.1 so not many people would want it
