I downloaded a 3ds dev menu and now the 3ds eshop is gone.

The app just replaced the eshop in the home menu and I don't care that the eshop won't work in march 2023 I just want it back in the home menu.

you might try uninstalling it, then running a system update.

How many games do you have installed on your 3ds?

The app won't appear in data management or fbi and whenever i try to update it fails

nevermind i found it in fbi

you may have to do a ctrnand transfer.
