Yeah, people are not asking to send it to laboratory, just a little "i'm still busy" or whatever would be cool....

I do wonder if someone emailed him. maybe he would check his inbox per month. So Still no news from Jl12? Seems not seeing him for long.--Syphurith 02:35, 4 July 2013 (CEST)
interesting. a little update but nothing helpful.

People say no news is good news, how stupid of them XDConsidering that the fundraiser reached its $2000 goal a while ago, the longer we go without an update, the worse the thoughts that run through the minds of those who donated and the higher the chances of refunds happening on those donations due to thoughts of being scammed.
Pretty much one of two statements needs to be made:
1) We sent the 3DS off for decapping
or
2) The estimated total was actually less than what is needed.
Better to get bad news than no news at all.
Not only that but they also have multiple IRC channels that they talk about how GBATemp are chumps that you can go to.
it was a long time to reach $ 2,000, and now a long wait to get an update from 3DS decapping ! #disappointed
This scares me... Ugh. I'm glad I didn't learn of the project until after the goal was reached- I probably would have donated. Still, that is highly unprofessional to bash those providing the money.
Just like the way we rag on other sites as well coughDSScenecough but in times of need (for the 'greater good'), it's better to work together than to get your knickers in a twist just because. Plus iirc, they weren't the ones to post/advertise the fundraiser on GBATemp. It was reported etc.Yeah if you goto their forum they rag on GBATemp consistently I also saw someone else here who was keeping up with it mentioned this as well. gbatemp shouldn't of let this dude advertise his fundraiser from the get go. They always are on top of things, and if I were to try and get a thread about raising money so I could hack my keyboard they would shut me down quick. Just because these jerks have a wiki site does not make them reputable.
You forgot to send the $3200 processing fee and the $48000 tax to my account. That's why *tsk tsk tsk*Jl12 isn't a Nigerian prince, by any chance? If so, I helped him get out of prison but he still didn't wire me that $1,000,000.
I don't know what DS scene is, but there doesn't seem to be much of a scene for the DS in general I wouldn't consider gbatemp a source of original content. So if there only use to those people who do fiddle with the consoles is giving money away then it is discouraging to see hate towards them.Just like the way we rag on other sites as well coughDSScenecough but in times of need (for the 'greater good'), it's better to work together than to get your knickers in a twist just because. Well then, try to get people to donate to your cause. I'm sure they would, because the first donation went so well.I said earlier on in this thread that I could use a SEM for supercheap and somebody said the price was because the "removing the epoxy, delayering the chip" was the expensive part for labs to do... come to think of it I have no idea what kind of lab specialises in this kind of thing. I'm not exactly calling bullshit on this one but I'm skeptical.

ONE thing that disturbs me as I glanced over this thread is that it may have been FOUND and is being used by others before "sharing" it like the op stated. Oh, sorry, tangent there. Remember the old, "We hacked it" claim? I also "heard" there was a save exploit found and it was public that the update by Nintendo patched it. I never confirmed the save exploit (whisper in my ear). A person began a thread to get something like this started for f0f to hack Wii U (release something usable). If you go into efnet then #wiidev and #wiiudev you find the same names. Give them "cred" by liking their tweets/forum posts and now giving some money? I feel badly if this was a scam (or later became that way). This is not like a car mechanic "taking a look" then telling you how much it will cost. IF an actual estimate was offered, and accepted, then money changes hands and the "fancy tools" are then used to deliver.I saw DiabloStorm 's status, and he's right- they want $2300 now. They updated the fundraising page to fix the number... :/
Everyone- until we get an update, DO NOT donate money. You may be just throwing it away at this point...

Launch of what?ok... Just waiting for the launch here at home !
Smells very suspicious to say the least. I hope it works out.
