I've been trying to clean my 3ds' micro sd card. I think I've got everything just right except for one thing - updates and dlc for games that aren't installed. I think I might've installed a few updates or dlc for games that were a different region than the game I have installed. is there any way to figure out what updates/dlc don't go to anything? if I were to try installing an update from the eshop and my game was of a different region than the region my 3ds is for, would anything download? I know I've done that a few times without remembering which region game I had installed. it doesn't seem to provide this information in memory manager either. in fact, the way nintendo organized stuff in there is a total mess. lastly, if a game has been converted to region free, does that mean it can use either usa or european updates/dlc? if not, I'm not sure what the purpose is in making a game region free.
