Homebrew 3ds CFW and system update help

hey, havent used my 3ds in a long time and completely forget what to do about homebrew and where to start as I have it installed already just nothing updated for months. I am on sys 11.6 but could not tell you on my own what version emunand, FBI or luma.

Could someone help me on what way I would update the 3ds to 11.9, would I require the CFW to be updated aswell?

On a side note is there still fully functional online with CFW and would you be able to use online services such as pokemon bank with no drawbacks? Thanks

First of all, turn on the console and keep pressed START button, and tell us you´re luma version.
Second, turn on the console and keep pressed SELECT button, and tell us if GodMode9 boot, to know if you are on A9LH or B9S.

Well you have to update the luma updater from github, then update luma because on 11.8 luma is broken but then got fixed
