Hello,
i bricked my old 3ds xl while installing luma, what i actually did was followed the instructions to install luma (put files on sd card, browser exploit) and update 3ds to latest firmware, but instead of updating from 3ds settings i updated 3ds in gateway mode and updated emu nand ( note i also formatted my 3ds nand in gateway mode before launching gateway emu nand),well when the update finished my 3ds never switched on and my sd card in 3ds is empty :D , when i press the power button blue light lights up as long as i keep holding the power button . any help would be appreciated.

sorry i dont know what i had, all i know before update i went to a link from browser to get it ready for the update.
Were you following https://3ds.guide?
If you put boot.firm from Luma 8.1.1 does it boot up?
You may need to buy a ntrboot capable flashcart and install CFW that way (https://3ds.guide/ntrboot) then use GodMode9 as a Luma payload to do a CTR transfer.
Next time, put your Gateway card in a drawer and don't touch it while installing B9S. Once you're done, you can visit https://gbatemp.net/threads/tutorial-using-luma3ds-gateway-on-b9s.431691/ for instructions in getting it to work again.

its been such a long time now when i put boot.firm from Luma 8.1.1 it does boot up but i dont know what to do next. i think im still on firmware 4 so im confused

1. Use the cheater's CFW starter archive found here.
  • Read the parts about reformatting the card, checking it with H2testw, Luma3DS configuration settings, and Rosalina HBL injection video.
2. Updating B9S Section VI - CTRNAND Luma3DS
3. System Settings → Other Settings → System Update Sys 11.8.0-41E

4. GodMode9 Usage - Creating a NAND Backup
  • Keep that image safe somewhere on your computer or external drive.

Can't do much w a routing # anyways, it just shows where you bank basically

Even personal checks have your routing #, and your account # on them, but still not much can do with that info alone.

My Nieghbor out of town, n I watching his house/ feeding his cats for him. This morn woke up n seen cops and ambulance at his house, so I walked over there just in time, they were bout to bust down his front door, said they got a 911 call then open line. So I open door n his house phone was off hook on kitchen counter. Somehow one his cats knocked phone off hook and dialed 911.
