Hardware 3ds brick help

so basically my 3ds now does a popping noise then turns off, I’ve tried the usual things such as without sd boot attempted to boot into Luma menu nothing works, looked into it looks like self test failed... anyway to fix this or can I send it to Nintendo or will they just send It back as it’s been modded software wise?

Loose wire inside probably, open it and check it, Nintendo won't fix it if they detect it is modded.
