Hacking 3.36 or 3.60?

I'm a bit behind in what's going on but I'm doing as much reading as I can. I figured I'd ask this in the meantime. I have 2 Vitas, one is on 3.61 (updated before I knew what was going on now) and the other is on 3.36. I see HENkaku uses 3.60, but I wanted to make sure I should be updating for this and not staying on 3.36 for any reason. What should I do?
