Gaming 2nd Wii Remote doesn't work when playing online with COD5 and JB:Q

Hi,

Having two remotes playing online at the same time on Mario Kart works fine. But when I play Call of Duty 5 or Quantum of Solace online with my brother, the 2nd remote disconnected once I've entered online mode within the game. When I press a button, the remote lights do not light up. But I then go back to the wii menu and that 2nd remote has disconnected and then if I press a button, it will sync again.

Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because its a backup copy?

There is no 2 player online for COD

No 2 player online for either game, so the wii motes turn off to save power.
