2DS XL power problem

So a few months ago, I fitted a psp analog stick to my 2ds, but upon reassembling it, it seemed to turn off when i'd open it to a 90 degree angle and over. Strangely enough, when it happens, i'd have to plug it into the charger and even 1 second of charging would make it work again. Additionally, when i did power it back on, it would show the time being the system default when it loses power: 12am. I suspect that unfolding the 2ds is somehow disconnecting the battery but i'm not entirely sure. Any help is accepted.

I might be late here, but you might have the top screen ribbon loose, not fully seated or slightly damaged.
There´s also the possibility of some other cable not routed correctly and applying pressure/tension over the ribbon.
Opening the lid applies a bit of strain, and if the connection is severed, the console shuts down.
