Gaming 292 game limit

A lot of people have 200+ VC games and about 50-60 Wii U eShop games for my Wii U so Nintendo really needs to fix this issue.
total games available : 718

out of those, i dare you to find and name 100+ games you havent played yet and want to play that are actually good.

If one only downloads good games (both good and bad VC games), they would have about 250-300 games already.
Look, either you're really rich or you're a blatant pirate. either way, just get games on discs (if ur legit) or use Retroarch (if ur not) the 292 game limit is only a problem for pirates and rich people, not the regular user.

You point goes agaisnt itself. You said good games the good AND BAD games. Only good games. If people really need the emulation use retroarch wii u which is way better then virtual trash

Retroarch wii u is great. Its in beta so single player only as of right now but for the rest its great. Everything runs full speed and N64 and PSX is on the way.
Do they run better than Nintendo's bare bones Virtual Console?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Once PPC dyranc is out then N64 will be out. PSX is semiplayable without dyranc so they pushed those already
I hope so, I'm ready to play Mario Party, GoldenEye 007, and Rayman 2 at full speed!

I just got this limit error message. I have been pondering how to get around it.... I originally started installing on a 500GB HD but couldn't fill it up due to the 300 title game limit on the WiiU....

So, yeah loadiine can work -- but still limited to SD card size unless you can sucessfully get Mocha CFW with FAT32 to work (I can't)

The limit applies to the HD -- 300 games per USB Drive -- so I might break up my collection to multiple 250GB drives and organize drives like A-F (Drive 1), G-? (Drive 2), etc...

Or maybe (Drive 1) WiiU Titles (Drive 2) Wii Titles (Drive 3) Virtual Console, etc.

Would have to swap drives every boot but that way could have installed WUP versions broken down on multiple drives (each drive having a 300 game limit). Not as kickass as having 1 drive with EVERYTHING... still my dream.

Ideally it would be cool to have 2TB drive with ROMS (GBA, GBC, NES, SNES, N64, etc.) - GameCube iso - Wii WBFS - & WiiU Loadiine Ready games....

Anybody know how to do that?

Anybody know how to do that?

has anybody tried using more than one external usb hard drive to get around the limit?
i was thinking of using two external usb drives and plugging in one for my 200 legit games and using the other drive for cfw isntalled titles. that way i figured if both drives are never plugged in at once the 300 icon limit would not be an issue.
problem is i get mixed messages on the subject. sometimes i read that this workaround is fine and other times i hear that even when using two usb drives seperately i would still get an issue with the wiiu menu messing up.
i didn't think the limit was a ticket limit but an icon limit. when you unplug a usb drive the icons are gone so theoretically using multiple usb drives should solve the issue.
i have never actually been told by someone who have tried this that it works and i was recently told that exceeding the limit even on multiple drives when only plugging one drive in at a timer would still cause an issue. so without confirmation i'm a little worried to try it.

Reading all the threads about the question OP prompted I've learned two things:

1-Most people in forums are straight assholes, ignorant, lazy and completly uselless, yes you're "shovelmembers", you should be uninstalled. Imagine if this forum also had slot limit for members… Nobody asked your opinion, just a solution.

2-There is no simple and practical way to solve this problem/limitation.
