I't been quite a while since I looked into my banned Nintendo Switch and it's online connectivity or lack thereof.
As some of you might know im still hoping to one day move my saves from my banned switch to my patched switch.

But when trying this today I noted something had changed and well I think it's good to share it just to be sure it is a known thing.

For saves we have three options;
1 - Transfer a save to the cloud
2 - Transfer a individual safe
3 - Transfer a user account

1 = a no go as well im banned.
2 and 3 should be a no go as they require a verified connection (dauth I guess before it can pass.

So far it all seemed normal.
BUT what I did notice was one thing going different from the past.
If I attempt 2 or 3 in either OFW or CFW (SX OS in my case) it results in the internet connection getting lost.
That did not happen before ... and I tested it both with a wired and wireless solution.

It would randomly throw a;
2110-3000 or 2016-0043 a that point

But even resetting up the internet connection then was not enough.
Every online check like action ... even just going to your user's page (on home top left) resulted in the connection getting removed.
I could tell that fairly easy in Horizon OS as the wired connection icon or the wireless connection icon geting removed.

For good measure I am using fw 8.0.0

Only real way to get around that from continously happening was a hard reboot.
Which fixed it both on OFW and CFW as in the wired and wireless connection then staying alive like normal.

But I am wondering if others have run into this connection removal situation?

PS: If this is a known thing ... sorry about that ... I've been away from temp for a while.

Maybe using a 3rd switch. make a backup of your user.bin and put it in a unpached switch that isn't banned. and then send it to cloud?

dont know if it would work. and there is a risk banning another switch.

Well yeah sure that would work. But having a third Nintendo Switch ... well I simply can not justify that.
Still hoping someone is able to stub the dauth check in the save transfer in some form or way.

But this post was more about; the error codes being new to me ... and to get attention on the internet connection removal that happens afterwards.
