Gaming 2 player Pokemon Battle Revolution?

Is 2 player supported on pokemon: BR, or is it like those lame gamecube versions where you have to have a GBA for 2nd player.

The N64 pokemon let you have 2 players, hoping this one will too.

If someone can help me navigate the menu, I'd appreciate it.

Well Pokemon XD could be played with 2 player w/o gba to.

I think 2 Player only works in DS Mode. Both need Pokémon Diamond / Pearl.

IGN says it works with 1 wiimote. I feel like I've tried every menu though.
