Hi, I'm discovering the joys of owning a Wii in the year of 2026. Better late than never. Been playing the NTSC Virtual Console version of Star Fox 64 a bunch, and there's this annoying audio distortion that's hard to ignore throughout the game, like the audio is crackling. It's most noticable in the end credits. This video I found on youtube shows it off as well, so I know the issue isn't just on my end: (45:56 in case the timestamp doesn't work) I was surprised how nobody online seems to have discussed this over the years. Has anyone else noticed this or similar issues on other n64 VC releases? Is the cause known? Out of curiosity, I did try the PAL Lylat Wars release, and the audio was perfectly fine in that one.

Hardware 2.1 orig and alt problems on d2pro9

I updated my d2pro9 + wiiclip to the newest 2.1 after the alt version came out and it didn't work at all. All my wii did was spin up really quickly then stop every second. So I tried the 1st 2.1 firmware and it works alright but there are a few hiccups here and there. For example, when I insert a disc it is slow to spin up. Frankly I should have stuck on the beta fw because it worked flawlessly. I was wondering if anyone still has the 1.1B d2prog.exe if they could attach it to a post or upload it for me. Is anyone else having weird problems with either of the 2.1 firmwares?
