I'm on the a new 3ds and have 11.2.0-35U. When I go to smealum.github.io/3ds, the firmware only lets me select up to 11.1. Is there any way to get the payload (In case you need to know, I'm using A9LH and luma, trying to boot into the homebrew menu with the cia)

Edit: here's a screenshot of the selector:

Turn your internet on and let the Homebrew Launcher cia automatically download the payload. That's the only way to get it currently.

11.1 payloads work on 11.2. I know this because I recently installed arm9loaderhax on a friend's 3DS, and Ninjihax was the only entrypoint I could use, and the 11.1 payload worked on it.

They're talking about the Homebrew Launcher cia, not an exploit game payload.

Yeah, when you launch the homebrew launcher, it downloads the appropriate payload for your home menu. Since nothing was changed to the home menu from 11.1 to 11.2, 11.1 payloads should work. That's why it downloads the 11.1 payload.

Mine downloaded an 11.2 payload, even with having an 11.1 payload.

It downloads the 11.1 and renames it to 11.2.
If you look at the 11.1 otherapp payload from smea's page and the one on your SD card in a hex editor, they should be the same.

Actually just updating the system will require a new payload. Each payload is unique to a version (due to the binary/whatever) Also when I was trying to launch into homebrew after updating the 11.1 payload didn't work
