Hacking 10.X update safe for Gateway emunand?

With all the excitement and confusion about the new CFWs, has Gateway finally been kicked to the curb, like an old R4?
I'm sticking with Gateway until the one CFW emerges to rule them all or someone writes a clear guide for one that isn't out of date by the time I've read it.

Anyway, there hasn't been an announcement at the site in over a month, not even a quick fix for anything that may have broken in the latest update.

So has anybody updated their GW emunand on O3DS 9.X to 10? Is it safe?

I don't think there will ever be CFW to rule them all, since most CFW are copy/pasted Gateway, and you need to support them too FOR FREE, which requires time for no return.

emuNAND updated to 10.0 working fine on 4.3 o3DS with rxTools for me. I'd imagine Gateway works as well (used gateway for making emunand for rxTools, not sure if that matters).

Afaik if Nintendo doesn't change anything in ARM11 binaries, you are good to go with the ROM selector ... but someonen eeds to confirm that.
Iirc we had a situation like this before.

It works fine for me - Old 3DS, sysNAND 4.5, just upgraded Gateway emuNAND to 10.0.0-27. Multi-rom (select button) works and games are working without any problems.
