Is it going with o3ds or is it n3ds only? How could I downgrade from 9.8?

As someone who did the 8.1j SOAP response method, we used 000400102002CA00. Not sure about sysupdater, though.

I removed that CIA and
looked for <TitleId>000400102002CA00</TitleId> in GetSystemUpdate_response.xml

Then Swapped <Version>0</Version> to <Version>1</Version>

Tbh, that 8.1 - 9xx update shenanigans was not properly written with too much conflict information with a lot of users giving different advice and different configured files. In the end I figured it out myself on how to update it and with help with the version string.

It hangs on my O3DS 10.3. I see the prompt to press Y) to downgrade, but it just freezes.

OK, so it's safe to downgrade on N3DS? And can it work with IronHax?

It's safe, but not very reliable. It seems to hang at step 8 a lot. Keep retrying until it passes 8.
