Congrats!

I am gonna have to sometime check out all that homebrew, see what I can use.

P.S. I looked thru all the homebrew...and tried to sort by author, can't find ANYTHING posted as authored by "Another World"

btw can anyone recommend a good organizer homebrew (a la DSOrganize) for the DSi?
much appreciated

DSchedule seems to work for me.

It's a bit fussy to get used to right at first, and my only complaint with it, really, is that it shows date in European, rather than American format...and there is no choice involved to switch it.

Likewise, it shows time in 24-hour (military) format, and not AM/PM - with no way to switch it.

It's also a bit fussy on scheduling stuff right at first, it's almost like...you have to schedule only the end time for the event....don't worry about the Start time for it...

THEN you gotta modify the event...in order to make the Start time work right.

Otherwise it does not let you schedule things. At first, the Start time won't move...won't go past current time/date. That's why you have to schedule only the End time/date. THEN, after the event is scheduled, then you can go back and modify.

For example, if I have a doctor appointment at 1PM on September 22, I have to schedule only the end time, as 14:00 22/9/09
and put in the note Dr. Smith, or whatever. Then save the event.

Then, I have to bring up a list of all my events, pick that one, and MODIFY it...to get the start time to go in...then I can set it for 22/9/09 13:00.

Make sense?

So, like I said, it's a bit fussy, but it works.

I appreciate all the work, I've tried every single homebrew you uploaded btw..
Although I might have miss something...
Anyway, I know how hard you work on it, and we do appreciate it!
That's what i call the true commitment..
Congrats dude!

Now it's time to write up a great big 5 page super-post, listing all the homebrews in the order you posted 'em, and whether you think each one stood up to the test of time

Nope.
I did a search, and only ONE file came back.
WTF?!!?

congrats j-live, i'm looking forward to your 10,000 uploads posts next sunday

Wow that is a lot of work. I can't believe that many homebrew titles and revisions thereof exist, the homebrew community's bigger than I thought.

Kalisiin: That won't work, you can't search by who uploaded a file

It says you can search by author.

All's I need then, is a link to a file that she uploaded, so that I can click the link that should say, "See other downloads by this person" or however it puts it.

ON EDIT: Looking just in the NDS-Applications section of the Homebrew category here...I don't even think there's 1000 applications listed at all, so I am just wondering where you find all this stuff...I honestly do not know where to look...I can barely find anything that says it was posted/authored by Another World...I'd like to see some of this stuff, and see what I could use...can someone direct me to some way of getting a look at a listing or something?

Seriously...is there some super-secret place on this site where all this stuff is, because I swear to God I cannot find it, no matter how I search.

as soon as costello and shaun give me a raise, hmm $5 more an hour? =P

@Kalisiin: i report the news and upload homebrew files. i'm not the one coding the homebrews i've upped here. if you check the gba homebrew section i am pretty much responsible for everything you see there. that was a large chunk of my uploads. just go through the list alphabetically and grab some homebrew that looks interesting to you and then give it a try. don't worry if it is something i uploaded or not. because i uploaded it doesn't make it better than if someone else uploaded it. =)

@everyone else: thanks for all the thank yous and kind words. it is great to know that everything i've done is appreciated.

OK, done that.

I just thought, since I couldn't find anywhere near 1,000 uploads with your name on them...that, SOMEWHERE, I was missing a great huge hunk of available homebrew, and wanted to know where I could find it, that's all.

It isn't that I trust you any more...or less, than any other author here...I'm fairly sure GBATemp vets this sort of stuff before letting it stay up..but...like I saod...because I could not find 1,000 files, or anywhere near that number, with you listed as the author...that somewhere, I was missing out on a great huge hunk of homebrew.
