    I finally sorted out my issue. I used the "IOS Manager" function in "Multi Mod Manager (MMM) v13.4" to update IOS 53, 55, and 56 to the latest versions. Then the game worked!

    Has anyone got this going on a PAL Wii? I get the message: "You cannot access this channel". If I try patching the wad to PAL using FreeTheWads I just get a black screen followed by a reboot. Any info appreciated.

    Here are some simple checks: Make sure no other USB devices are plugged in (i.e. USB NIC). Try the other USB port. Go to your Wii settings and REMOVE ANY NETWORK CONNECTIONS DEFINED (Wired or Wireless).

    Well, you could use the NUS Downloader, which will retrieve the IOS file you require directly from Nintendo's own servers. Download NUS Downloader from here.

    Your mileage may vary. I wrote and tested this guide against 3.4E, so thats all I can confirm as working. Having said this, I see no reason why this guide wouldn't also apply to 3.4J and 3.4U.
