Ok, so I finally go an M3 simply. My first flash cart. I have been working on my ds homebrew title using an emulator so far.
My game uses libfat, to read a few files. No writing, or directory traversing.
To run it in the emulator, I patch it using dlditool FlashCartSRam driver.

ok, sounds like I want the ez-flash V to go with the expansion, as rumble does not work with the R4DS.
But I still have not seen this question answered: does rumble work with off the shelf games carts?
Thanks,

Will the expansion pack with with an off the shelf cart? Or do I have to dump the rom, and run it from my ez-flash V (or now R4DS).
Also, with the new patching tool for R4DS, am I better to get the R4DS versus the ez-flash V? It seems that most reviews favour the R4.

One more; do slot 2 carts boot faster than slot 1 carts? Or does it vary on the cart? (Talking flash...
There are tons of solutions out there for running games on the DS. Most of the reviews I have seen are geared more towards just playing games. I am wondering which solutions is considered developer friendly. i.e., simple process for transferring roms, good compatibility, price, behave closely to...
After spending 3 hours on reading review, and shopping, it appears that the M3 Simply is probably the best cart to get.
*I like the idea of M3's support versus the R4.
*I think that the construction of the EZV is dodgy, although seems great otherwise.
*Supercard seems to have more speed...
although i ended up accidentally changing my nand with no way of going back bc i didn't know you needed a gamecube controller to restore it (i have a wii minus/1.1, which doesn't have gamecube controller support)
and if i find the sd card i have my NAND backed up on, i can not only restore the NAND if i solder the right part in, but i can also put my NAND on dolphin, then i can play dolphin online, like PMEX Remix or MKWii Riibalanced
