Hardware Broke my circle pad functionality can it be fixed?

I was swapping out the stock circle pad for a new one because it had gotten very old. While I was removing the ribbon cable I got reckless and accidentally broke the clip that secures it. I have tried gluing the ribbon cable onto the pins but the circle pad doesn't respond. When I boot up the...

Yeah you need homebrew and custom firmware. luckily that's very easy to get so just follow this guide. With luma custom firmware you can do basically whatever you want with your 3ds. rom hacks, cheats, save editing, and much MUCH more. If the guide is overwhelming I would recommend watching some...

I was able to make a new NNID and use the eshop after the system format. Let me know the error code you are getting, there’s a chance that it’s unrelated. You can also try another system format to see if then it’ll stop giving you errors. Happy I could help with everything that really mattered...

I have a region swapped 3ds and there aren't any downsides for me. You can still use multiplayer, and have an NNID and use the eshop despite what people will tell you. I forget that my 3ds is region swapped sometimes honestly. Here's how I got this all working for me: Follow 3ds hacks guide but...

Homebrew [NDS] Yet Another nds-bootstrap Forwarder: more than 40 forwarders are now possible

Keep me updated. I can't get it working either, the only way any game goes widescreen is when the .cxi is in /luma/sysmodules but then I can't use per game settings.

Japanese 3DS worth the hassle? (and other questions)

I don’t know anything about unSAFE_MODE to be honest. I used a video to navigate the japanese eshop ui i’ll link it at the bottom. You can use a temporary mail service like temp mail etc to make the account I’m pretty sure. I used a gmail account I made specifically for stuff like this. Side...

@Psionic Roshambo, people who cant download it can still play the game
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
If your internet speeds are fast enough. Streaming 4k takes alot. I used to only have 20mb sec, and 4k struggled. Now I have 300mb sec and 4k plays fine.

I think Game streaming should work like this.... Local Hardware able the run the game fine, game engine and common assets stored locally, all FMV and music and textures could be streaming

Or free government supplied high speed internet be nice also. Like Obama care. Xdqwerty that's cool, its time consuming but rewarding once done or playable, to see what you've made from scratch. Animations take forever, but worth it.

    @BigOnYa,
and the visual aspect of the game is quite crude (the sprite that looks best is that of the protagonist just because he is a stickman with sunglasses)

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
There is a bullets behaviour you assign to your character, that makes the code easier, under "behaviours"
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
i meant that when the character is pointing to the right, the bullets spawn where they should, but when he is on the right, they move to the right but the spawn point is incorrect
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Itch.io has lots of free assets also. Under the bullets behavior tab, there is a "rotate bullets" option, can try that. Or in the code can try
    - fire bullet Player.X(PlayerDirection)

That's cool tho, I'm proud of you going back to it, not giving up. It is difficult at first to learn, but fun once you get the hang of it. I think I've watched every tutorial video there is, but I still struggle sometimes to get stuff to work right. But gotta keep trying dif things, and eventually you will get it right.
