It probably was! I was getting a lot of jitter but this one is jitter-free. I'm not sure what was causing it but I appreciate you giving the idea for this.
Awesome! Yes, there's a 330ohm resistor to be added, it's on the lower right half of the schematic I posted. That will bypass the bottom screen LED so the DS will power up.
Hello,
I saw an old (locked) thread about making a switch that would swap the screens on a DS Phat from top to bottom on a single screen, which is useful for a Macro build or a DMG shell build. I've been doing DMG shell builds but the Macros will work the same way.
Here's the schematic that...
I snagged one on eBay for next to nothing and got a few games. I do wish I had owned when during their actual release, but it's a cool bit of nostalgia. The games are actually pretty impressive for their time and being on a mobile device.
Probably because the Neo Geo market is just stupid expensive and the MegaDrive / Genesis market was super cheap. BlockBuster had Genesis games to rent up until the 2000's but I never saw a Neo Geo game in person until decades later at a specialty retro shop. Funny that we think that way about...
I've used micro USB connectors on the DS and DSLite without issue to charge. The board on those has a step down, I can't imagine the DSi doesn't have one with all the aftermarket chargers being off spec.
Those ribbon cables and connectors are SUPER finnicky. You'll have to snag a tri wing and reseat the screen cables or check that they're not cracked. If the screens blink that's an indicator that one isn't connected.
I haven't played my Switch n a month or so, just been playing Xbox, and just picked to play lil and Damn that A and B, X and Y being reversed always gets me.
