    Hacking Snes9x file type error

    Hi everyone, I'm having some difficulty with this as well. I ran Snex9X and loaded a dvd containing a bunch of ".smc, .z64, and .v64" files *hint hint*. They emu gives me an error "file type not recognized". Can you guys tell me what extension i should be trying? Thanks for reading.

    Correct, shows up as gamecube disc but when loaded gives and error. You're then forced to reboot or turn off the wii.

    Updated my Wii (purchased on release day) to 3.0U with WiiKey installed with wires. No problems, No warning screen. To clarify, I went to the settings to update it.

    No, actually it is completely reasonable to assume that the program you used to split the file, will also put it back together. With no information on which program you used to split it, or even what type of file it is. How can you reasonably assume that anyone here can answer your question?

    If your NAND was hardbricked, then just buy another Wii. Or go with the dirty NAND flasher method.
