Hacking PSVR: Can it be used on both jailbroken PS4 (6.72) and OFW PS5?

Has anyone been able to use their PSVR on jailbroken PS4 (FW 6.72), and on OFW PS5? I'm wondering if the current HEN with its PSVR firmware spoofer is sufficient to run the PSVR on a retail PS5 and a jailbroken PS4. Can anyone confirm if this works? Thanks.

Homebrew Discussion How to Back Up Game Updates

That would be nice. I've been told that it is possible to back up game updates currently, but I haven't seen the specifics yet.

Homebrew Discussion How to Back Up Game Updates

I am looking for a thread that discusses how to back up and restore game updates. I think this is a good idea, first from a historian's perspective, to preserve different states of a game's development post-release, as well as to speed up re-adding updates to archived titles and to save space...

Hacking A future SX OS update will have extra security to improve protection from bans

Is it possible to save game updates by copying them from the SD card to some other external storage device, and then restore them when needed? Downloading them is slow, copying would be faster, and for game preservation for the future.

Ran this for step 7, and received the error below. Any clue as to what I'm doing wrong, or what the solution to this is? c:\ChoiDujour 1.02>ChoiDujour.exe --keyset=C:\keys\keys.txt C:\Update --noexfat ChoiDujour 1.0.2 by rajkosto uses hacktool by SciresM (https://github.com/SciresM/hactool)...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Does this mean you can boot SX OS without losing cartridge slot functionality upon return to a firmware below 4.0.0?

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Why do you say that you believe this step (5) stops the cartridge port from being unusable on earlier firmwares?

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Could you please elaborate on which keys need to be in the keys.txt? I'm currently stuck on that part. That someone came up with this is pretty amazing, but (no offense) it doesn't mean the tutorials are always completely noob-friendly. Getting the update was hard enough from the cough cough...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Oh, okay. I obviously haven't done my research. I was assuming that it was on the gamecard port that could be detached. Thanks for the info!

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

I haven't read the entire thread's comments, but has anyone tried disconnecting the cartridge slot from the board before updating past 4.0.0 and then reconnecting after the update to avoid the update to the slot?

Hacking Noob Questions regarding System Software, exfat support, NAND backup, etc.

I was thinking it would give me the option to downgrade to 4.1.0 directly instead of going back to 3.0.0 and then updating to 4.1.0.

Hacking Noob Questions regarding System Software, exfat support, NAND backup, etc.

I just thought that would save the extra step of updating to 4.1.0 later if I wanted to downgrade back to 3.0.0, and at 4.1.0 I would still have cartridge functionality. Does that make sense or do you still thinks it's pointless extra work? Thanks for your input!

Hacking Noob Questions regarding System Software, exfat support, NAND backup, etc.

So my current plan is: (either wait for Atmosphere and see what it has to offer or...) 1. Backup 3.0.0 NAND for safety 2. Rajkosto update up to 4.1.0 3. Backup NAND for possible downgrade if lower FW offers something extra in Atmosphere (plus cartridge slot still works) 4. Rajkosto update to...
