Linux mint, installed amd drivers now blue screen

Actually, the community has more love for AMD than nVidia -- default open source AMDGPU driver module the community developed is like 99% as fast as the proprietary driver made by AMD themselves. Its not really worth the hassle to install the proprietary driver on AMD, the open source one just...

    Homebrew Can't Read MicroSD Card

True, windows' own formating options usually don't let you do that (though I've actually seen it offer it on some of my own 32gb cards....but that was at least a few years ago). Other programs in windows can, however. Guiformat was mentioned as one. Heck, Wii Backup Manager should be able to...

    Homebrew Can't Read MicroSD Card

Bah, Windows must've gotten its foot stuck in your card (happens sometimes.....its not exactly a smart OS.....), and removing caused it to lose its mind. Did it Blue-Screen? Either way, restart computer put card back in, fire up guiformat again. See if you can get anywhere with that.

    Homebrew Can't Read MicroSD Card

Remember, there are no stupid questions, as we all have to start somewhere. :) Now, you'd be surprised at the formatting situation sometimes. For 64gb cards, windows tends to INSIST it be formated as "NTFS" or "ExFAT" by default, so if you just rapidly went through the menus it would end up as...

    Homebrew Can't Read MicroSD Card

Could be some dust on either the sd card or the 3ds connectors. OR....you've formatted the card wrong. It needs to be formated as FAT32 with (preferably) 32kb cluster size. Either way, its good you've copied contents to your PC. This lets you have options if the card is indeed dying. Even...

Hardware Weird touchscreen issue with a newly brought 3DS XL (latest CFW and OFW)

Weird, then. Usually a touch screen being both unresponsive AND reacting to spurious random phantom clicks usually points to an uncalibrated screen. I would say that the issue persisting after a calibration points to bad hardware (dying touch sensor/screen), though I would defer to someone...

Hardware Weird touchscreen issue with a newly brought 3DS XL (latest CFW and OFW)

Have you tried running the touch screen calibration option in the settings?

Hacking The ultimate list of NTRBoot compatible flashcards

Hey guys, what about this one? image link here because I can't get it to show up normally This seems to be an R4, none-i, but with a Wi-Fi logo. Have no idea how to classify this one or if its even flashable. I think this variant fell through the cracks, shamefully.

    Homebrew [Recompile] FTPd 2.2.0

Hey, I did some followup on testing the cia on longer / bigger transfers. FTP'd a SegaCD image (bin/cue) to the device resulting in a full 513MB transferred in just over 7 minutes. FileZilla reported speeds hovering around the 900kb/s -- 1015kb/s, giving an average of 1MB transfer rate. This...

    Homebrew [Recompile] FTPd 2.2.0

I noted that on your github the .cia version is considered "untested", so I did a quick n dirty test by sending over the Super Turrican soundtrack in mp3 form (which is about 90MB). Seems stable, and I hit transfer rate spikes of above 1.2MB/second occasionally, according to filezilla. All in...

Hacking [Release]ARDS Firmware Tool -Improved NTRBoot for ARDS(EZ/ME/i), flash your own FIRMs and more!

Hey there. Haven't had the chance to go over this thread in detail, but does this program have a way of force-feeding the original firmware to the ARDS phat _without_ booting the original firmware via flashcart or TWLoader or using Code Manager? Neither method lets me get anywhere other than...

Hacking un-bricking my New 3DS XL

That's _Start_ on boot, to get to the chainloader. Holding Select will just get him to Luma config.

Hacking The R4i-B9S cards can be reverted to regular Flashcarts

Well, I'm curious if it'll work on bog standard R4 (not R4i) cards. I've got a non-i version with the R4I-SDHC.com branding, and none of the other flashers seem to think its compatible. My ARDS was compatible with the B9s ARDS update, but I still can't flash it back to normal ARDS firmware.

    Hacking [Release] NTRBoot for R4igoldcc,ARDS(EZ),ARDSI

Hey, those of you thinking you need older windows to run code manager -- you don't. Or at least I didn't. This may point you in the right direction, though: I have the original CD that came with teh ARDS Phat, and running the installer off that on 64bit win10 worked just fine. The drivers...

    Hacking [Release] NTRBoot for R4igoldcc,ARDS(EZ),ARDSI

There's gonna need to be qualifiers on that flashcart-can-unbrick (or revert to stock)-an-ARDS idea. The .nds files given so far to do so simply don't boot on R4 cards such as mine.

    Hacking [Release] NTRBoot for R4igoldcc,ARDS(EZ),ARDSI

Yeah, that behaviour seemed extremely suspicious and reminiscent of when B9s or A9lh can't find something to boot off of. What threw me off was that I had everything named correctly except for ntrboot.firm, i had missed that line and went with boot.firm, as that what the guide said that normal...

    Hacking [Release] NTRBoot for R4igoldcc,ARDS(EZ),ARDSI

Nevermind my previous post. Figured out i was misnaming my files. 3ds.guide says to name the installer boot.firm, but the ARDS instructions are to name it ntrboot.firm. Missed that little detail. Card works, successfully installed B9s!! :D Still need to a good method of reverting the ARDS...

    Hacking [Release] NTRBoot for R4igoldcc,ARDS(EZ),ARDSI

Hi guys, I'm also running into a problem with the ARDS. I have an ARDS that's just like the one in the OP's pic, only with a red instead of blue label. I used the CRC-corrected ntrboothax installer file by RattletraPM, and Code manager flashed it without fuss......but using the ARDS to install...
