I would love to play this but I can't find the cia file anywhere :( All I've found have been 3ds files, but I'm not sure if its possible to convert that to cia and patch it..
Since you already have Hourglass9, I think you can just download Decrypt9 here: https://github.com/d0k3/Decrypt9WIP/releases/latest/
Place the Decrypt9.bin in your /luma/payloads folder and rename it to x_Decrypt9.bin so you can open it by holding x during start up. I don't think it should...
As stupid as I may already seem by now, this may be an even stupider question but, is an 8 GB microSDHC + adapter fine to use? Or would it be best just to use an SD card?
...oh. I'm so sorry D: I assumed that ctrtransfer involved only directing System Settings to a certain firmware to update to, not actually reinstalling the system apps and then doing so. I'll try whenever I get to buying a larger SD card, but thank you so much for your help! Hopefully it'll work...
I'm sorry I must be misunderstanding. I am able to run the payloads including Decrypt by holding x on boot. But Section III Step 10 in the guide requires me to open System Settings, no?
Actually, I don't think I'd be able to do that either because I'm not able to open system settings to update the 3ds.. :/ The closest I've gotten to accessing any settings was being able to edit connection settings in recovery mode.
Yeah, I'm able to open Luma. I was also able to open Hourglass9 too with holding Start, but it goes straight to the Home menu now for some reason.
Edit: Jk Hourglass9 works too
I'll probably end up doing that, but hopefully I don't f*ck up anything lol. Thanks anyways! Next time (if there is one) I'll make sure to do things right!
It's O3DS, but even if it would work updating from a cart, I can't even open the cart to do so. And I'll have to try a friend's hotspot tomorrow then (my carrier doesn't let me). If not, then I understand there's probably nothing I can do :/
Is there any good place to get cheap used 3DS's lol
Yeah I'm an idiot.. I did look around GBATemp before doing anything and saw a comment mentioning it was possible to update the system with a cart, so I didn't expect this to happen. In regard to the "An error has occurred. Unable to Update" thing, is that common and really not fixable? Or would...
So I'm in the same boat as you. Downgraded to 2.1.0, but I didn't realize that the NAND didn't backup properly because my SD card was too small.. I attempted to update the system with Pokemon AS (U) which I think is 7.2.0U, but now I can't open anything. I tried to update through recovery mode...
leo @'d me in a thread about his last dream, stating he was passionately making out with a guy he used to know and then woke up while reaching for his crotch, and said that i would "know who 'tf' it is"
and of course i know, it's luke
