I finished New Super Mario Bros 2 and all 3 Shovel Knight games on my New 3DS XL. This is by far the best platform to play Shovel Knight on, if you guys didn't play it yet you should clean the dust on your 3DS and try it asap. The 3D effect looks absolutely beautiful.
I have a problem with Super Mario Sunshine: it does not display image on my TV unless I select enable gamepad before the game starts. However, if I select that option my Wii Remote + Classic Controller Pro will not work at all. Is there a way to have image on the TV and use whatever controller I...
Nope, I gave up, it simply does not work. I think I uninstalled and reinstalled the game at least 10 times trying to do that. I'll just stick with the old method of having only the cutscenes undubbed, it's enough for me.
I think I'm actually not replacing the file on the game folder, since those folders do not show up for me. Can you tell me how the folder structure of the game folder should look like, starting from storage_usb, if possible?
EDIT: Never mind, I think I figured it out, the 00050000 folder never...
You mean I should have those folders (Actor, Effect, Event, Font, Game, Map, Model, NavMesh, Pack, Physics, Sound, System, Terrain, UI and Voice) in both the game and the update folder?
Looks like my game is not working anymore, even after I replaced the file back with the original one, it still freezes. I have some questions though, on the first page it says there should be a game folder (storage_usb/title/00050000/101C9*00), and an update folder...
It still freezes after multiple replaces of that file, really odd. I have the lastest update, and the TitleBG_EUeu.pack from the update is literally the same as the one from the game, it wasn't changed.
It is named EUen, I made a typo here, and the game was working before. The thing is, when I restarted the FTP client to check if the file was good, it actually had a different size (352kb instead of 348kb). I think the WiiU replaces the file with another one or something, I'm not sure what's...
This does not work for me. I took TitleGB_JPja.pack, unpacked it, changed JPja folder name to EUeu, repacked it and changed the name to TitleBG_EUen.pack, then I uploaded it to the Wii U. When I start the game, it gets to the main screen and freezes.
Game files, 27 files, 9.92GB.
Update files, 21 files, 2.29GB.
Installed them normally, game first then update. This happened yesterday when I changed the code folder, and it happens now with the original code folder too. However, when I install the normal undub (voice folder copied) and the...
Allright, the problem is that the game files and the update files are being merged for some reason. This is how the game looks in data management after installing the game and update with modified files:
I'm giving it another try, didn't mess with the code folder this time, just replaced the bootup files in both game and update folder, added TitleBG_JPja and modified the RegionLangMask file. Uninstalled both game and update and now I'm installing again, let's see if it works.
EDIT: Stuck on the...
I will try the new method too, I'll just uninstall the game and update and install them again with the modified files. I was just looking for a faster way of moving just the modified files.
Quick question, is there any way to copy the modified files to my installed game without FTP? Something like copy to the SD card and then to the Wii U?
I only copied the japanese voices over the english ones, but then again I didn't get to any divine beast yet, I mainly wandered around the south-east area of the map all this time.
