I have no problem downgrading from 10.2 or older. I've done it twice. I also bought a brand new N3DS from Best Buy a few weeks ago and it was 9.6 so I think most units on the shelf will be fairly low firmware. This one was probably only 10.5 because it was used sold by Amazon which means it was...
I like to make sure I'm getting an answer to my specific situation so I know for absolute sure.
I guess I'm screwed. Not interested in doing any hardmodding. I guess I'll be selling it.
I just got a used N3DS from Amazon thinking it would come with a low firmware. Unfortunately it's running 10.5. Is it possible to downgrade from this version to 9.2?
Thanks for any help!
Looks like you're right. Since I have an O3DS Reinand needs to boot with the high ram patch thing that allows Smash and MU4 to launch which disables DS games. The easiest way around this is to just reboot into sysnand when I want to use my DSTWO. Kind of inconvenient but I'm not sure of a more...
My understanding is that it uses the 3DS' internal emulator. It's simpler than having to install GBA cias to sysnand and emunand, if I can get this to work.
Is that a plus model?
Well I just wonder if I set it up correctly. I download the DSTWO PLUS ESO from here. Then I just took the _dstwo folder and put it on the root of my micro SD (which I formatted with GUIformatter to FAT32). Is that all that's involved with setting it up?
I just got a Supercard DSTWO plus for my O3DS running 10.5 emunand in hopes of being able to play DS and SNES games on it. I've added the _dstwo folder to the root of my micro SD in the DSTWO and when I launch it I just get a black screen.
Was I wrong to think this thing would work on latest...
Is it safe to update my Old 3DS XL (currently on emunand 10.4) to 10.5 on reinand? I hear something about Nintendo being able to detect emunand now or something along those lines. Is that true?
Thanks in advance!
EDIT: I've updated to 10.5 and reinand and online features seem to be working...
How do I do that?
I don't think I'm using menuhax. All I'm doing is using browserhax to access Homebrew Launcher and trying to launch pasta from there.
