    Hardware Motherboard or L-Button Ribbon?

    Long story short, I think some water got in my o3ds XL a while back. This caused my 3ds to constantly hold down the L button. I opened it up and detached the ribbon from the motherboard and now it works. However, I'm unsure as to which is the problem. Should I try to replace the ribbon?

    Ah I see. Thanks guys, I've anyway installed menuhax prior to installing to this. I just wanted to know if ironhax would work since Smash crashes for me when I leave to the home menu with menuhax, making Anther's Ladder difficult :(

    Unfortunately, that can't be the solution as my 3DS is set to boot to homebrew when I hold L. edit: I should point out that if I uninstall menuhax, it works fine.
