Homebrew Why is SSB4 crashing on my O3DS whenever the home button is pressed?

So with the latest 3DS homebrew hype, I've recently installed both menuhax and ironhax on my O3DS. I enjoy having emulators and all, but adding menuhax now causes Smash 4 to crash upon pressing the home button. While may sound like a minor gripe, it makes it very tedious to play with people on Anthers as it requires me to constantly reboot my 3DS. Does anyone else have problem? If so, is there a known fix besides removing the oh so convenient menuhax? My 3DS is on firmware 10.3.

If you have Menuhax set to autoboot when no buttons are pressed, then Menuhax is probably launching once you press the Home button. Whenever you press Home, just hold the button you configured to stop Menuhax from launching.

I haven't looked at menuhax for 10.3, but if it works the same as before, having it set to boot into homebrew without holding a button (type 2 iirc) will cause going to the home menu to crash unless you hold the button

edit: was beat to it

Unfortunately, that can't be the solution as my 3DS is set to boot to homebrew when I hold L.
edit: I should point out that if I uninstall menuhax, it works fine.

Does the 3DS actually do that? I suppose that would explain why it takes so long to go to the menu. I suppose I can skip menuhax and wait a little longer to start up my homebrew then

Install menuhax, but make it launch-able via the a button instead of the L button? Or just press a button as you close homemenu?

Menuhax -always- runs when you start up your 3DS, except at the end of the code it will either return to the regular home menu, or proceed with loading the payload, depending on what buttons you have held and how you configured it.

I'm not surprised that it causes problems with Smash considering how Smash works. This also affects other games such as MH4U I believe. Any game that reboots into extended memory mode.

My guess is that returning to home menu while playing a game in extended memory mode isn't the same as just using home menu normally, so the menuhax code cannot run properly and it just crashes.
