Then what about their updatability? I distinctly remember it was advertised that SX Pros would be updatable to work in the future even with new units. I also remember this was referring to these unhackable units, anyone else remember that?
Thanks mate. Well, that's unfortunate. Just imagine how homebrew and emulators could benefit from higher clock speed. I would try it no matter what, even if it could mean replacing the battery down the line. I guess I'm the only one though.
Can the SOC fry because of that? Because in theory, taking the battery out of the equation (since it can be replaced), reaching that frequency could benefit both docked and undocked performance, as long as we can manage temps one way or another.
EDIT: @JK_ So it tops at 921mhz? Isn't that a bit...
I know that already, that is why I wrote that I take damage to the battery as a given. I already know it will damage the battery, I would just wnat to know if it is possibile at all, regardless.
Sorry if this has been answered already, possibly a noobish question (to @JK_). Would it be possibile, with this mod, to overclock the X1 to it's original intended frequency as well? Or will it top to 768HZ no matter what? I'm not interested in battery damage, I've already took it into account...
Another non sequitur. Those things require a lot of money to be produced. Money is not something abstract that materialize itself. It has to come from somewhere.
Also, you have my age and the internet is a thing. Ignorance is not justifiable anymore, in 2018. Your sources are random people, mine...
@Pokepicker You write too properly to actually believe this. Enough said. You said NASA makes big money. They don't. Fix your logic. Also, I believe earth is
pyramidal: now it's your turn to prove me wrong. Easy, isn't it?
Even then, what for? This is the flaw I was talking about. If everything was flat, what would be the purpose of not simply acknowledge it for what it is? It's still a non sequitur. The problem is not how they justify all this, it's why.
I still don't get it. If there's a company that has no problems with money, it's NASA. The whole conspiracy of keeping the flatness of the earth a secret is flawed and unaddressable. Keeping this secret serves no purpose whatsoever. Even if someone wants to give some credit to their reasoning...
The real question is: what reasons can a person in his right mind have to convince others that the earth is not flat when in fact it is? What's the whole point? If it was indeed flat, what would be the point in denying that? I don't get it.
Dude, please strip all the special characters in the rename feature, otherwise SX OS will not recognize those titles with one in them. Right now it is pointless and unserviceable. And add an autoupdate feature for the app itself if possible, thanks buddy for your hard work!
I agree on this, but to me it looks like they've purposedly disregarded security. I don't think Nintendo would have wanted their console hacked this fast this open.
Moreso, as I said in the quote above, I find it hard to believe that Nintendo felt right knowing everyone could get access to the...
That's what I'm saying. They probably thought their security was hacking proof, that's why they agreed with the X1 itself for the Switch instead of a custom made chip.
They had the possibility to strengthen security but didn't because of X1 chips being outright unused if not for a niche market...
NVIDIA underestimated piracy and hacking skills of the underground scene, Nintendo's in particular, when they partnered for the Switch. I feel like this will be the last time an NVIDIA-powered Nintendo console will be this easy to crack wide open. If this leads to problems to NVIDIA themselves...
