Hacking Wiikey and Verbatim
I burned about 25 coasters with Sonic brand dvd-r(cheap dvds). Then I got ritek and they worked without any DREs. Then I upgraded my firmware for my nec 3550 and 3520 dvd burners and low and behold the sonic work without any DREs.- frendly5

Just installed to wiikeys via wire/quicksolder method from wiinewz front page a couple days ago. Got both back together, tried one of the 25 games I've already burned on my favorite ps2 blank media. Not a single one worked... But the setup disc worked which led me to believe it was the...- frendly5

Hacking QuickSolder = 100x Easier than Wires
I was told to use flux on the wire I was tinning because it would help the solder to stay on the wire instead of the iron. Is that correct? If not, what do you suggest?- frendly5

If wires is the way to go and I've heard the 30 gauge is the wire of choice, how do you strip that tiny wire. I could try a razor blade. I looked for a wire stripper that small but I couldn't find one. Whats the best way?- frendly5
