Let's say I'd be interested in looking into this, what would be a recommended starting point? The jaggies are getting worse and worse further into the game.

ROM Hack Question Trails of Cold Steel 3 mod/config available? ?

Started playing Trails of Cold Steel 3 and the aliasing is pretty horrible tbh (docked mode BTW) Really distracting. Was wondering if there's a way to mod it in a similar fashion as was possible with Xenoblade and some other games through config files and overclock.

    Hacking Switch bootrom warmboot exploit

Just to hijack this, as I'm in a similar situation. Let's say I update to 5.1 with Rajkosto's method and have my 4.1 nand backup, would downgrading for the softmod be as simple as just restoring the nand through hekate? In theory it should work as no fuses have been burned and I would just be...

Tutorial How to install/run ANY Switch firmware UNOFFICIALLY (WITHOUT burning any fuses)

Got a quick question: I just bought a Switch, which came with 4.1.0 (unpatched version, thank god). Never went online and haven't really done anything except a NAND backup. I was planning to use this guide to update to 5.1.0 to get exFAT support and effectively use my Switch. Can I (if and)...

Gaming Breath of the Wild - No Voices in Cutscenes

Thanks, after toying around a bit turns out the problem was in the audio settings of the WiiU. Switching audio output from surround to stereo solved it. Never had a problem with that before, but whatever Nintendo...

Gaming Breath of the Wild - No Voices in Cutscenes

Hey guys, Been playing the game for quite a bit and have been wondering why there's barely any voice acting in the major cutscenes. So I went on Youtube and found the same cutscenes I already watched but with voice acting present. Is my leaked download missing some files or is it a settings...

Hacking Browserhax - Update Nag 11.0.0.33U

Yeah it's like that. Can't believe it's a dummy browser though. Been using it before so that would be rather weird. To be exact, this is what happens: First message appears and if I try to DNS block or anything the second one pops up instead...

Hacking Pokemon, CFW and cross-region multiplayer

Thanks for the replies, guys. Well, yeah guess online play's out of the question with her needing to update anyway. Still a bit confused about the cross region local multiplayer though. Some say it's possible others not. I would love to do that but unfortunately my 3DS is European...

Hacking Pokemon, CFW and cross-region multiplayer

Quick questions about regions and local multiplayer. My gf is a total Pokemon-fangirl and I got her the new one for Christmas. While I'm not really interested in it I figure it would be fun to play with her a bit. She has a stock o3DS (US) with a retail US cart of Pokemon Moon. I have a EU o3DS...

I'd sooner buy the Meze 109 Pro if I was dropping that much on headphones. I don't even like buds/IEMs
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
I got the Google Pixel Pro buds, they're good enough for when I need portable audio. And some really cheap IEMs that Dankpods recommends, I think the KZ ZSN Pro
    +1
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I'd stick with cheapo Chinese $10 ones quality is actually becoming on pair with name brand since name Brand usually quads the price up anyway loose one bud that's another $200
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
My Pixel Pro buds shit the bed a month or two ago. My wireless charger (which they do support Qi charging) absolutely COOKED them. Caused some problem that caused the case to heat up to 180F+
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
They were like 9 months out of warranty but I hit up Google support anyway and told them how hot they were getting and they replaced them with new ones because they wanted these for failure analysis lol
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
    lol wireless charging
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Yeah that's why I can't bring myself to even spend $100 on wireless earbuds
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think it's a cool idea but damn
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Apparently the case has a problem with >15W wireless chargers. Google design fault, that one.
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
I could live with wireless charging if the damn standard case doesn't block connection
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    how is wireless charging possible?
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:

you mean generally, how does the concept work?

  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Copper conducting electricity or something
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
@Xdqwerty, power through a coil of wire causes an electromagnetic field to be generated. Another coil of wire can be set up to harness the power from that electromagnetic field and turn it into usable energy for charging a device
  • Sicklyboy @ Sicklyboy:
Two good videos from ElectroBOOM that touch on the subject:

Wow I can't believe I've been watching ElectroBOOM for that long. I remember when that first video came out lol
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@Sicklyboy, i think wire chargers are more practical
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
but im too stupid to know
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Wired is better for faster charge but if you just leave it all night while you sleep it's good
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
Most wireless pads can only max 15w while average bricks are 65w
