I think the vWii well usb loaders checks usb port 0 last so it checks the other usb ports first and finds your wii u hdd tries to mount it and fails to load at least that was my experience with my Wii U.
I found you can download the original theme with modmii load it up go to option 3 system menu themes and get the one called original app and install it with mymenufymod you can also get this from modmii option 2

Make sure your sd card is mbr not gpt you can change this with minitool partition wizard format the card to fat32 32kb then copy all the files from your old sd card to the new one and make sure there is no unallocated space on the card before you format it then use this to copy your emunand.
I got the hall effect joycon replacement sticks and they work better than the original sticks im impressed i love them i will soon order another pair for my second set of joycons i highly recomend them.
I had the same problem when i dumped my nand with usb loader gx i had to extract my bootmii nand.bin with showmiiwads and use that to get wiiware games to work or you could use modmii to build a working emunand.
miis are located in the nand/shared2/menu/FaceLib/RFL_DB.dat folder you need to extract your bootmii nand.bin with showmiiwads but I don't know how to extract the miis from the RFL_DB.dat file
